The duo
The project is made up of Carlos de Jesús Coronado Chirino (Charly) and Roberto Johayron Amores Rodríguez (Johayron), two voices that complement each other on stage and that have grown alongside the new generation of reggaeton made in Cuba. Their repertoire combines their own tracks with recent hits featuring top-tier artists of the genre, built on choreography, energy and a carefully crafted live show.
On 6 April 2024 they closed their "Los lápices" tour at the James L. Knight Center in Miami, at a time when they were also promoting the single "Una Copia De Mí". That run confirmed their ability to fill large venues and to connect with audiences in the Cuban diaspora.
"El Punto", a phenomenon
Few tracks describe their impact better than "El Punto", released in September 2024 alongside Bebeshito and El Taiger, produced by Ernesto Losa. The song reached 10 million YouTube views in three weeks, a figure that gives a sense of its reach.
"El Punto" was also the last single released by El Taiger before his death, and it was heard as a farewell anthem at the vigils held for the artist in Miami and Cuba. It is a detail we treat with full respect: a song that began as an urban hit and ended up carrying deep emotional meaning for an entire community.
