Cuban music — timba, salsa, Cuban reggaeton and the reparto wave — fills venues and festivals today in Madrid, Rome, Milan, Paris, Brussels and Amsterdam. But not every Cuban artist fits every event. The difference between programming Manolín at a Cuban-salsa festival and Charly & Johayron at an urban club is not aesthetic — it's structural: audience, band, rider, budget. This guide covers the 7 Cuban artists Cubita Producciones is touring across Europe in 2026, with only verifiable information and each artist's real availability.

1. Manolín "El Médico de la Salsa" — Timba

European availability: May–June 2026.

His real name is Manuel González Hernández. He was studying medicine when he was discovered by José Luis "El Tosco" Cortés, leader of NG La Banda, who gave him the nickname. His solo discography includes "Una Aventura Loca", "Para mi gente" (1995), "De buena fe" (1997), "Jaque mate" (1998), "El puente (live in Hialeah, FL)" (2001), "Giro total" (2003) and "Tiene que ser Manolín" (2012). His song "El puente" — a call for reconciliation between Cubans on the island and in Miami — was one of the triggers of his conflict with the Cuban government and of his departure from the country.

He lived around 20 years outside Cuba, mainly in the United States, and also spent time in Spain. In 2024 he returned to Cuba with a new album, "La Calentura", premiered live on July 5, 2024 at the Salón Rojo del Capri (Havana) with a band of young musicians he calls "los chamacos". The album was released on digital platforms on June 6, 2024.

Why he works in Europe right now:

  • He's a key figure of 1990s timba, a genre that still fills Cuban-salsa dance floors in Europe.
  • Full live band: horns, classic Cuban percussion (timbales, congas, bongó), piano, bass — no playback.
  • Wide catalogue plus fresh material.

Best for: Cuban-salsa festivals in Spain, Italy, France, Netherlands, Germany; theatres and mid-size venues (1,000–2,500 pax); cultural events with Cuban or resident Latin community.

Not ideal for: strictly urban clubs or Gen Z events without a dancing audience.

2. El Micha — Cuban reggaeton

European availability: May–June 2026.

His real name is Michael Fernando Sierra Miranda, born on September 12, 1981 in Havana (Barrio Eléctrico). Before music, he was a high-performance basketball athlete.

Early in his career he collaborated with Elvis Manuel — a young Cuban-reggaeton figure who died in the Florida Strait on April 7–8, 2008 trying to emigrate — on tracks like "Dale Mambo" and "Gerente". As a solo artist he released the album "Con dinero y pasmao" (2010) and has worked across his career with artists including Gente de Zona, Pitbull, Maluma, Wisin and Daddy Yankee, among others.

He is one of the most visible names in Cuban reggaeton and, since 2023, has been involved in a public diss battle ("tiradera") with Chocolate MC — considered one of the creators of reparto — which has produced multiple cross-replies, including "Que vaya el Choco" from El Micha. He lives in Miami.

Why he works in Europe right now:

  • Radio catalogue: any European Latin crowd knows several of his hits.
  • Proven live show on major festival stages, veteran-grade authority.
  • Band + DJ format scales with the budget.

Best for: Latin urban festivals of 3,000+ attendees, premium summer dates (June–August), large clubs.

3. Charly & Johayron — Cuban reggaeton

European availability: June–July 2026.

Cuban reggaeton duo composed of Carlos de Jesús Coronado Chirino (Charly) and Roberto Johayron Amores Rodríguez (Johayron).

One of the Cuban acts with the strongest international momentum lately. Their track "El Punto" — with Bebeshito and El Taiger, produced by Ernesto Losa — was released in September 2024 and reached 10 million YouTube views in three weeks. "El Punto" was El Taiger's last single before his death, and it played as a farewell anthem at the vigils for the artist in Miami and Cuba.

On April 6, 2024 they closed their "Los lápices" tour at the James L. Knight Center in Miami. At that point they were also promoting the single "Una Copia De Mí".

Why they work in Europe right now:

  • Stage chemistry: presence, choreography, proven duo dynamic.
  • Recent hits with top-tier cubaton artists.
  • Catalogue big enough for festival sets.

Best for: large clubs (1,500–4,000 pax), urban / university festivals, brand events targeting younger audiences.

4. Jacob Forever — Reggaeton (cubaton)

European availability: July 2026.

His real name is Yosdany Jacob Carmenates and he was born in Camagüey, Cuba.

In 2005 he joined Gente de Zona, where he stayed for around nine years before going solo in 2013. With Gente de Zona he recorded "Lo mejor que suena ahora vol. II" and other material.

In 2015 he released the solo single "Hasta Que Se Seque El Malecón", included on the album "El Inmortal". The song became a phenomenon: it dominated the Latin Billboard charts in 2016 and stayed two months in the top 10 of digital sales, leading to his signing with Sony Music Latin. The music video — shot in Havana — has comfortably passed tens of millions of YouTube views and is arguably the most internationally recognisable cubaton anthem.

Why he works in Europe right now:

  • "Hasta Que Se Seque El Malecón" lands as a peak moment in any Latin festival.
  • Compatible with large-stage productions: horns, band, festival format.
  • Also reaches non-Latin European audiences thanks to the strength of his hooks.

Best for: Latin coastal festivals, July–August premium dates, large events (2,000+ pax).

5. Talent Fuego — Reggaeton / Reparto

European availability: March 2026.

Cuban reggaeton and urban artist, part of the reparto movement — the subgenre born in Havana's neighbourhoods that fuses reggaeton, trap and local slang. He appears among the names featured in international coverage of Cuban reparto.

His most visible tracks are collaborations with Michel Boutic, El Principal and Mauro y El Pitu, including "Así", "UFF", "No Recojo" and "JALA".

Why he works in Europe right now:

  • Active digital presence without headliner pricing.
  • Authentic reparto sound, aligned with the current scene.
  • A good vehicle for promoters wanting a rising Cuban name.

Best for: mid-size clubs (500–1,500 pax), emerging festivals, brand events targeting Gen Z, March dates (more affordable).

6. Ja Rulay — Reggaeton / Reparto

European availability: spring 2026.

Cuban reggaeton / reparto artist. He broke through as half of the duo Fixty Ordara y Ja Rulay, authors of the "Todo está OK" phenomenon — the remix with Ovi, released by Planet Records Cuba / Miami, helped push the track outside Cuba. The duo later split and Ja Rulay has continued solo. Other tracks tied to the project include "El Expressway" and "Ratata" (with Mawell).

Why he works in Europe right now:

  • Recognisable voice in current Cuban reparto.
  • Connects with young audiences through social media.
  • Excellent festival support next to a Cuban headliner.

Best for: festival support, double-bill, mid-size clubs, events where the audience follows the artist on socials.

7. Wildey — Reggaeton / Reparto

European availability: April 2026.

Cuban reggaeton / reparto artist. His signature track is "Normalmente" and the remix with Yomil y El Dany released by Planet Records on May 10, 2019 — one of the most-played tracks in Cuba that year, with a music video shot in Havana Vieja. In 2023 he released the single "Perdularia".

Why he works in Europe right now:

  • Hits that European Latin crowds recognise.
  • Authentic reparto / cubaton sound.
  • Accessible fee compared with a headliner.

Best for: clubs (500–1,200 pax), brand events, reparto-themed parties.
